The Judges of the Superior Court of Gwinnett County are accepting applications for a full-time position as a Gwinnett County Juvenile Court Judge. This appointment will be for a four-year term, commencing on or about July 8, 2025.
To be considered, applicants must hold a law degree; must be 30 years of age; must have been a citizen of the State of Georgia for a minimum of (3) three
years prior to the application date; must be a member in good standing with the Georgia Bar and have practiced law for a minimum of (5) five years; and, must
be a resident of the Gwinnett Circuit at the time of appointment.

Juvenile Court exercises jurisdiction in cases involving delinquent, unruly, dependent, and runaway offenses under the age of 17. Juvenile Court has concurrent jurisdiction with the Superior courts involving capital offenses, custody, child support cases, and termination of parental rights.

- Take I-85 North to Hwy. 316 (splits to the right).
- Exit Hwy. 316 at Hwy. 120 (Duluth-Lawrenceville exit) and go right approximately 1.5 miles.
- Turn right at the 8th light (Perry Street).
- At the 3rd light turn right onto Nash Street and immediately get into the left hand lane.
- Turn left at the first road onto Stone Mountain St SW.
- Go 1/4 and turn left into the Juvenile Court parking lot.
