Child Support Guidelines

NOTICE TO ALL PERSONS FILING DOMESTIC ACTIONS INVOLVING CHILD SUPPORT

Effective January 1, 2007, and thereafter, new Child Support Guidelines are effective that must be followed. (Reference: OCGA 19-6-15)

You or your attorney will be required to file financial information on an approved "Child Support Worksheet" before the court can consider any calculation of child support. Both parties are required to file a worksheet.

This worksheet and instructions are available at the Superior Court Clerk's Office or may be found on-line in an electronic format at the Office of Child Support Services web site: https://services.georgia.gov/dhr/cspp/do/public/SupportCalc

This worksheet must be filed timely in accordance with the requirements of the statute and local court orders. You will not get a hearing without your information being accurately supplied on a worksheet filed with the clerk's office.
